COMMERCIAL SOFTWARE
Our plugins are commercial products. They are not free software and they are not open source.
They are not distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), and they are not distributed under any other open-source or free-software licence. No such licence is granted in respect of them, whether expressly, by implication, by estoppel or otherwise.
The fact that our plugins are written for, and run inside, the WordPress platform does not place them under the GPL and is not to be taken as consent to any open-source licence. We have never released our plugins under the GPL and do not do so by selling or distributing them.
OWNERSHIP AND LICENCE GRANT
Our plugins are licensed, not sold. What you purchase is a right to use the plugin, on the number of websites permitted by the licence tier you bought, for as long as your licence remains active and valid.
All intellectual property rights in our plugins remain the exclusive property of B&B Global Marketing Solutions. This includes the source code, the structure, sequence and organisation of that code, the database schemas, the naming conventions, the user interface, the settings design and the documentation. No ownership right in any of these passes to you.
Our plugins are commercial software. They are not distributed under the GNU General Public License or under any other open-source licence, and no such licence is granted in respect of them, whether expressly or by implication. Any licence not expressly granted here is reserved.
WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
Except to the extent that the law does not permit these restrictions, you may not, and may not allow anyone else to:
- Copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, transmit, sell, resell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense or otherwise make any of our plugins available to a third party;
- Modify, adapt, alter, translate or create derivative works of any of our plugins;
- Decompile, disassemble, decode, deobfuscate, decrypt or reverse engineer any of our plugins, or otherwise attempt to derive their source code or their structure, sequence and organisation, including any encoded part of them;
- Circumvent, disable or interfere with any licensing, activation, update or protection mechanism contained in our plugins;
- Remove, obscure or alter any copyright, authorship, trademark or proprietary notice contained in our plugins;
- Incorporate any of our plugins, or any part of them, or any structure, design, naming convention, data schema or other expression taken from them, into any other product, whether or not that product is sold; or
- Use our plugins, or anything derived from them, to build or assist in building a product that competes with them.
These restrictions apply to anyone who obtains a copy of our plugins, however that copy was obtained, and whether or not that person purchased a licence.
THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
Some of our plugins include components written by third parties and supplied under their own licences, including open-source licences. Those components remain the property of their authors and are governed only by the licences under which they were supplied. Nothing above restricts any right you hold in those components under their own terms.
Where a plugin includes such components, they are identified in a THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES file inside the plugin package.
BREACH AND TERMINATION
Your licence terminates automatically, without notice, if you breach any of the restrictions above. On termination you must stop using the plugin and delete every copy of it from every system under your control.
Termination does not affect any right or remedy that has already arisen, and all of our rights and remedies are reserved.
YEARLY PAYMENTS
Licenses are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
If you have an active subscription the license will be renewed automatically after a year and will not expire. Please note that if you cancel the subscription or if the payment will not be completed the license will expire.
If you do not have a subscription the plugin will expire after one year. If you do not renew your license then the license will be expired and you will not be able to use the plugin.
Please understand that we are managing a viable business model and the only way we can insure that we continue developing top quality plugins, provide good support, continue to update the plugins and add new features on a regular basis is by charging a early cost for each license.
We hope you understand that managing and selling products as one-time payments without a yearly cost will just create an obsolete products that will not support future updates and will not give us the option to continue developing products in the future, especially when the WordPress and Wishlist Member platforms have so many updates on a regular basis.
If you are using the plugins in your membership site you can easily cover the costs with just 1-2 sales.
PERSONAL LICENSE
Please keep in mind that all the licenses are for personal use only and should not be installed on your clients’ websites.
If you are an agency or a freelancer managing websites for clients, each client needs to purchase the required number of licenses for him (Single / 3 / 5) separately.
A valid and active license key is required in order to be able to activate the plugin and use it, and also in order to get updates and support.
DEVELOPER LICENSE
All our licenses are for personal license, we do not issue developer licenses.
We have decided not to issue developer license for many reasons, the most important one is that we want to make sure that if a customer would want to switch to a another agency he will still have full access to the support and to his purchases, as we are only supporting the customer who purchased the product.
We used to issue developer licenses but we have removed this option as we noticed too many cases that the customer had left the agency and his support service was not valid, which, of course, resulted in a bad experience from the customer’s point of view.
If you are building websites for customers, please note that you will need to purchase a separate license for every customer separately, otherwise, we will not be able to provide you with support.
LICENSES RENEWALS
If you do not have a subscription and you do not renew the license the license system will send a total of 6 notification emails, before and after the license expires.
A notification will also be displayed in your website’s back-end about the expiring license.
The expiration notification emails are sent via the HappyPlugins.com website license system and not via any autoresponder service.
The emails are sent to notify our clients that their license is about to expire / has expired.
The last email is sent one week after the plugin has expired and after that you will no longer recieve license expiration notifications.
SOFTWARE UPDATES
Updates are included as long as you have an active and valid license that has is not expired. If you have a valid and active license key and your plugins support it, updates will be delivered automatically from the WordPress dashboard. If your plugins do not support automatic updates, then updates can be downloaded from your account page.

Support is included as long as you have an active and valid license that has is not expired.
